Sam fights for Matlala

South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (Sascoc) president Gideon Sam is forging ahead with plans to preserve Jacob “Baby Jake” Matlala’s legacy and will be among the throngs of people who will bid for the four-time world champion’s belts when they go under the hammer at a fundraising event for the boxer on 27 January at Emperors Palace.
